The American Rescue Plan Act provides roughly $168 billion in funding for education in addition to the nearly $113 billion provided through the CARES Act and the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act. This funding comes with a tremendous amount of flexibility, and thus, tremendous potential for State and local education leaders. In this webinar, our panelists will identify and suggest strategies to utilize these funds to assess, design, and deliver evidence-based practices to build capacity and a sustainable system of support to attract, prepare, and retain effective special education personnel. The implementation of these allowable expenses will positively impact the special educator pipeline and enhance support for the social, emotional, behavioral, and academic support for infants, toddlers, children, and youth with disabilities.
