Leadership Development Program Subcommittee

Charge: The Leadership Development Program Subcommittee is charged to organize, implement, and evaluate volunteer leadership training and orientation programs; create communications plans and marketing/promotional activities and events related to volunteer leadership within CEC; and facilitate attracting, preparing and retaining volunteer leaders within CEC units and divisions.

It manages and enhances the Leadership CEC program, designed to develop knowledge and leadership skills in CEC members who are new or emerging leaders and have been nominated for participation by a CEC unit or division.

Composition:  The committee is composed of six members. The two members in their third year serve as co-chairs. (Applicants to the committee should have leadership experience within a unit or division. In addition, up to two participants from the Leadership CEC cohort ending in June can be brought on annually for a one-year ex-officio appointment.
